What began as a production exercise spawned into an entire community remix project. St Louis based techno artist ATMAN (314techno, Anode Records) created a remix kit with heavy acid overtones. The St Louis local community of electronic music producers joined together to create the ST LOUIS ACID PROJECT, each individual artist lending their time and their own unique flavor to create a work that can represent our city.

The city of St Louis is symbolized by the iconic national monument Gateway Arch. We have chosen to bathe that stainless steel archway in a vat of bubbling acidic brew. The result, nine mixes of power and substance, ranging from various forms of Techno into the realms of Acid House, ElectroBreaks and Experimental Glitchcore.

This release is free to download. We do encourage donations to be distributed to the members of STLAP for future projects and events.
